Our New Home

With the move to our new home, the first stage in Barony Universal’s ambitious expansion plans has come to fruition.

The new modern facility sits on an 18 acre site in Irvine, Ayrshire and will provide increased capabilities and development opportunities in the manufacture of aerosol and related products for the health and beauty market.

Stewart Shaw, then MD, wanted to stamp the company’s values and personality into the new head office and showcase Barony’s Scottish heritage. He discovered a series of paintings from renowned Scottish artist Raymond Murray that depicts famous Scottish scenes and landmarks. Stewart was impressed by artist Murray’s distinctive broad brush impressionist style and use of vibrant colour. Utilising this style, he zoned key departmental areas throughout the building and communicated the personality of the Barony team: talented, ambitious and visionary.

Stewart stated that he was pleased with the end result. He points to the response from our visiting customers and suppliers who are immediately struck by one of the most iconic images of Scotland with Eileen Donan Castle in reception, through to popular images of Edinburgh Castle and Cloch Lighthouse throughout the offices.
